Boston National Poetry Month

April 7th to 10th, 2016.

An annual celebration of Boston poetry: its richness and diversity. There is poetry, music, open mikes & readers of all ages. This joyful festival takes place over four days. join me there! Kathleen and other read on Friday, April 8th, 2016, 1-5pm at the Boston Public Library.

Massachusetts Poetry Festival

Saturday, April 30th, 3:15-4:15

“The Prose Poem- What is it?” Kathleen offers a writing workshop to explore the prose poem. We’ll look at examples, see if we can define/understand some of the parameters, and try our hand at writing one or two. Bring writing materials, prepare to have a great time. Beginners’ mind: Informative, totally non-threatening, and lots of fun.

The Massachusetts Poetry Festival takes place in Salem, MA from April 29th to May 1st, 2016. This is a rich program in a beautiful historic seaside town. The organizers are heroic in their work all year to make this a total wonderful experience. Check out the schedule and the exhibitors.

Presentation, “Unspeakable Things” at Book Passage, Ca FEB 24,2016

Presented “Unspeakable Things” at a most wonderful Indie bookstore, Book Passage, in Corte Madera, Ca. on Feb, 24, 2016 What a gracious place to read. Whoever designs their book displays is so good at it, makes you want to buy many of these tempting and well presented books. ( as I and others did.) Such a distinguished list of readings; if I lived nearby I would be there at least twice a week. Great cafe too, which did the reception for attendees. Special thanks to this outstanding Indie bookstore, and to family, friends and new friends who attended the reading. Book Passage has two locations in the bay area. Here is the
